OK, well the first time I can understand. But the second time, I'm a tad livid! I NEED THIS PROBLEM LOOKED INTO AND LOOKED INTO TODAY!

Add this item to your cart and try to checkout. It keeps giving me and customers an error as it was before. This is only one example and have had several. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

Add it and TRY to checkout. With thousands of hits per day and NO SALES tells me there is a problem and I'm losing thousands of dollars!

BTW: It may or may not do it for you! Who knows.. its intermittant. Now, if this is the case.. its a SOFTWARE PROBLEM!

Well, although I can get the error to happen in Ineternet Explorer.. the real problem seems to be if using Netscape or Mozilla. Again, MC seems to favor IE and needs testing with other browsers.

At what point in checkout does the error occur?

What exactly is the error message?

Are your orders processed online, or do you process manually?

Okay. It worked in IE, but in FireFox, I got this:

QUOTE
Microsoft VBScript runtime  error '800a01a8'

Object required: 'rsMaster'

/2620579170/Includes/CheckoutFunctions.asp, line 5162

And this in Netscape:

QUOTE
Microsoft VBScript runtime  error '800a01a8'

Object required: 'rsMaster'

/2620579170/Includes/CheckoutFunctions.asp, line 5162

Shooter:

Could your logo problem be caused by the / in front of the image path?

Also, your site has the secure/nonsecure warning throughout checkout.

I added an item to my cart - clicked on review cart a warning box pop-up for "this page contains both secure and non secure items". It looks like your top left logo is the problem.

Same errors I had a month ago and 'assumed' it was taken care of.

Well, I 'think' I may have found the problem. It seems to be that @)(#@((_ LIVE CHAT SCRIPT! I took out ALL logos, script and other addition info on top HTML. I'll see if this changes anything. I emptied cache in all browsers and have attempted to duplicate error.. no go so far... (crossing fingers). IF this is the case.. I would suggest to all... be careful of what 'scripts' you add to the basic software. Could cost you 'thousands' of dollars!

Shooter,

Back in March when you posted the same issue I posted >>

Hi Shooter...

I am able to add those items to the cart and proceed to check-out without a problem.

My guess is that your java based live chat application is affecting some of your customers in checkout (this is only a guess).

Did you submit a ticket? If so, I will log-in to the ticket system and assign the ticket you submitted to a high level tech.

In the meantime, I would remove the live chat app you are using to see if that is the root of the problem.

Please post topics in the appropriate channels... "forum feedback" is not the proper place to post "software issues". Please read the forums etiquette guidelines here >> Forum etiquette

You have to be careful what third party applications you post to your store. The live chat application probably cost you 1000's of dollars.
