I have seen a lot of customer testimonial pages and was thinking of using one myself. My question is, does anybody get the customers permission or is it ok as long as you don't use their full name? Thanks in advance for any info. clap.gif

Hey,

From a customer's perspective, I'd imagine that it would be best if you ask. However, if you put -

- you are pretty much hiding their identity. If you get feedback, I would approach it like this...

It is our policy to post good customer feedback, but make it pretty anonymous. Would you like us to put your first name and the state you live in?

In my experience most customers provide feedback because they WANT you to put it on your site. I think they like seeing their name in "lights"....lol

Maybe you could add a "Email your comments to us and we'll put them on our site!" type of thing though.

Im with Crash...if they send it to you, they must figure it'll get posted.

We list only first names and states. Never have asked to post testimonials and have never had a complaint or a request to remove.

I think you're right, I know I get a funny feeling in my stomach when I see my name posted on the web nerd.gif
Many thanks for the fast replies. beer.gif
