I am in the process of opening an e-commerce and home based retail store. I've been looking for a print catalog software program to use but, I'm not sure what is the best program for me. Have never done a catalog lay out or design before so, I need something that is an easy process to go through. Can anyone give a some good suggestions. Would greatly appreciate it.

Hi J,

I have produced a full color catalog for our wholesale company for the last 12 years. The program of choice at every pre-press shop I have been in has been QuarkXpress

I love this software and recommend it highly...no kickbacks for saying so either...lol. Learning curve on it is not too bad.

Thank you! Looked it up on the website and I was wondering, which of the two would you recommend. The Adobe PageMaker 7.0 or the Adobe InDesign CS PageMaker. What I want to do is print out 6 -8 page circulars for my retail business. Bear in mind....... I am a novice to this bigsmile.gif

j_angol,
Which one did you choose?
Does the software allow automation?
