I never know if the "load test" sites are acurate or not. I would like to troubleshoot why 800 of my sessions are hanging around for less than 10 seconds lately.

Please test how fast/slow my site loads and indicate which connection you are using.

My Site

It loaded for me in about 7 seconds via DSL line.

The first six seconds it seemed like nothing was happening. I would imagine that would be a lot longer for dial-up visitors.

Same here on DSL first 6 seconds nothing at all then there it is! Checked McSmiths and it loads at same speed as yours.

Thank you for letting me know. Sales have decreased dramatically since I was moved to the semi-dedicated server. I think a call to support is in order.

Better not be! I didn't feel like waiting on hold with support, so I submitted a ticket. We'll see what happens.

It took just over 30 seconds from my stone-age 49333 connection.

Thanks for the feedback gang (and for the compliment cjs ). I really don't think my homepage is THAT large so I think I will look at upgrading servers (if that will speed things up). I do get a consistent 1200+ sessions per day now so I thinks it's probably time.

What's the cost anyway? $200.00 or $300.00/month?

Edit: I dumped a bunch of stuff off the homepage and further optimized the graphics.

was very fast for me. Im on cable. I wouldnt worry about moving up to a semi dedicated plan, trust me, they will call you when its time.

edit: took less than a second. Now only if I could get around to optimizing images on my site!
