There is one old PM I sent a while back in the sent folder, but none of the recent PMs I sent are being logged....I like being able to reference and review messages sent.

I'd love to be able to review what I PMed someone. Used to work great.

Is this something that can be fixed - or one of the mysterious incurable forum 'glitches' like the 'Assistant'..?

I'm experiencing the exact same thing.

At first, I thought I was crazy, and never sent the actual message, or hit the wrong button.

I noticed it a couple of days ago.

Actually a newer feature it seems a few months back by InvisionBoard was to have a checkbox to save your PM's. So each time you PM you need to check that box.

Yup...it's true. There is a radio button you need to check off to save the message to your sent folder.

ahhh...hmm...okaayy... I'll look for that next time...
