My client would liek to store the dimensions of the boardgames he will be selling as well as the weight. Is there someplace this can be done within the product information? Someplace other than the Long Description.
AzAkers
The product description has a set area for entering product weight, but it does NOT currently have a place for logging dimensions.

This could be done in a simple excell spread sheet if you just want it for your own knowledge.

Yes, i'm going to just tell him he can do it within his current system I suppose. I don't think he understands that the shipping caluclator doesn't require the dimensions (even I don't understand why).

The shipping calculator currently doesn't use Height, Width, and Depth of a box when calculating shipping prices. However, if you are shipping an over-sized box then height, width, and depth would be an issue. I have only seen a couple instances where this was a problem and something had to be done. I know UPS offers an optional area to place these parameters to get a more accurate price when placing a request.

monstersmile.gif software lacks the ability for us to take into account dim ship weights on ups air shipments.
