Thats why I love living in the great State of Oregon, NO sales tax! So, all our customers pay no more than what the product costs. Though, I am waiting for the day where a U.S. President decides that all U.S. based websites have to pay a federal tax, which will be crap because the internet should always be free!!!

Yeah, well 99.5% of our customers are out of state so they're tax free as well. I too fear the day when/if internet taxation hits! It may seriously impact ecommerce as we know it! unsure.gif

I have a Physical retail store in addition to my web-store, so I am used to paying sales tax and filing the forms. I am not at all against a set internet tax, rather than dealing with sorting through the orders and figuring out which ones I have to pay tax on and which ones I don't... It may be a little bit of a hastle but in the end it makes your accounting easier becasue it is a "set" universal percentage, if you use "quick Books" you know that it is easy to set up different tax files. I also sell to other retailers and I ask them for thier TIN, and keep it on record, so that they can purchase with-out paying sales tax, why should "joe Shmo"(not the TV show) be afforded the same liberty.
