Does version 4.0 support Paymentech's Orbital gateway (come free w/ Paymentech's Processing product)? I went through trying to get it work in the current version before learning it wasn't supported. So I now have to fork over the 20 bucks a month for Authorize.net's gateway.

It would be nice to consolidate the number of vendors I'm dealing with....

I'm not sure about the version coming out, but I've been working through this Paymentech/Authorize.net issue myself.

In order to use Paymentech Orbital, do you go to https://www.paymentech.net/manager? When I tried to use the Paymentech Online Payment Manager, one of the techs told me to go to that site, and whatever I type in as the group number is the Login that goes on the Online Payment Manager.

Of course, it turns out that I have Authorize.net through Paymentech, (not sure how that happened) so this doesn't work for me, but it might work for you.

I am checking with a developer right now on that. I would follow Hedon's instructions... I am nearly certain that the current payment gateways in 3.x will work the same in 4.0. We just doubled our list of payment gateways we accept.

I will have a definite answer for you when I hear from my developer. But Hedon is right too... you'll find many merchant account providers will resell a variety of payment gateways.

Has this question been answered? I have an account with Paymentech and they would like me to use their "Orbital Gateway" gateway service. They aren't sure if it's compatible with Monster Commerce. I would like to know from Monster Commerce whether or not this gateway will work on their system.

Yes, 4.0 does work with PaymenTech's Orbital gateway.

This is great news. How do I swith to Orbital? Is it as easy as selecting Paymentech as the gateway? Or do I have to call in and have a new gateway added to the site?
