May I suggest creating a forum for "Security & Fraud" discussions (and moving all related posts there). The forum for "Articles & Tutorials" seems to be inundated with discussions about Nigerian Fraudsters.

You might want to stick your idea under Ryan's (Captain) Topic on "Ideas to Enhance Forum Quality of Life"

I gree 100% and maybe I would go a bit further and just leave it to MC Merchants ONLY.. cuz any other thieve could just register and sniff around our postings.

ps: matter of fact, I just had another fake order last night from Nigeria (I found out by tracing the IP) and took the necessary steps and the card holder has been notified of this attempted purchase.

I recommend to trace IP numbers for orders that look 'strange' even if they are to shipped to an address in the USA.

We check any and all suspicious orders, and we've found quite a few that were fraudulent by using this.

MaxMind is another great source, but I don't have the url that goes straight to the checking page. It's difficult to find, but it's in there somewhere.
