I was only wanting to add an extra question to my log in page.Simply a place to add a tax number as I sell retail and wholesale when I asked about adding the extra box I was tolf it would be $2000. Is this outrageous or what? All I want is a simple text box not a custom website. Has anyone else had issues like these or did they just misunderstand what I wanted?

Mons*er custom programming can be quite expensive. I was once quoted $500.00 for ONE word to be added to my shopping cart!

The only reason they can quote these prices is because some people gotta be forking out the cash. I think we all have heard "you need custom programming for that". I look at it as a challenge to find a workaround, but it is frustrating when you can't beat the system for something as simple as a word in your shopping cart.
