I just stumbled on something a bit odd. Im going through my stats and notice that some time has been spent on the cart help.asp page...
So, I finally realize that "cart help" apprears on the same page as one of my "contact" forms...and at the bottom is some of monst*** opt text that says:

QUOTE
"Mo***erCo*merce shopping cart software powers this online store. Mon*ter*ommerce offers small business information and a comparison shopping marketplace. M*'s e-commerce software solutions include sho*ping carts for building your e-business, website pro*otion to earn top 10 placement in search engines and logo design. *C also offers merchant accounts for accepting secure online payments, e-co*merce web hosting and a cheap domain name re*istration service. "

Does anyone know how the heck to ditch this text, and perhaps "why" my cart help is sitting above a contact form? Funky...

Thanks.

Hey Martini,

I couldn't find this on your site. Can you give me an example url?

Hey srg...I should've posted it initially...here it is:
cart help

martini,

i just noticed that my cart help page also has my contact page pasted on the bottom. this must be an automatic mc feature...this should be an optional item!

Ive searched through setup items and cannot find any way to turn off or remove this text. Cart help is an optional link, however, the page is obviously still in existance and spiderable, as well as accessible. This is a littl ebit of sneaky ad promo if you ask me. It should certainly be optional.

shame on you monstersmile.gif for this one.

Hey srg...thanks for checking it.
Think it's something to bring up, or is it just one of those "cant monkey with the asp" things? dry.gif

I really want that opt text off of the page...the whole thing is funky.
...what to do, what to do? down.gif

found another post on this subject...

i did not know of the heavy linking and am not to happy that it is in there in a rather hidden area with no opt out feature. Kman suggested a solution in the above post, but im not sure how this would actually eliminate the asp page.

I turned the cart help on our site off and just took the image and used it in a custom page I created called cart help actually it is a custom ID but then I could have what I wanted on the page.
