If we have a discount code cookie link in an email newsletter and someone clicks on it, shouldn't that link show up as a referral in the Urchin Statistics?

I have been testing/sending myself a newsletter and clicking on the Discount Code cookie link for 3 days now and nothing is showing up in Urchin referrals. Am I wrong about this? Does it take longer for the data to show up?
