I created some buttons for my categories and want to link them to their respective categories. How do I get the links?

Use the left and right hand html editors. If you want to have your nav bars be 100% static simply use all HTML in these areas. If you want some to be dynamic and some static... break it up 1/2 and 1/2.

If you do anything within the left side or the header (Navigation Bar Editor and Top of Page Editor, under site HTML) with your own HTML then you will need to make sure that you select the "Use Only Custom" option from beneath the HTML box.

This is a drop down box underneath the big white box for your HTML code. It will be set automatically to "Use only Defualt". If you don't change this then even if you do type in your own HTML it will not appear on the page.

Actually if you have already uploaded your custom category buttons to the navigation bar editor and need the links to the categories so you can copy the url to the buttons, go to the Naviation bar Editor and make sure that the drop down bar underneath the custom html window says Load custom and default, custom first.
Then go to store mode and click on the link for your category, go back to your html for your custom buttons and copy and paste the link from the category page to the href tag for that category button.
When you're done with linking up your custom category buttons make sure you go back to the Navigation bar editor and change the drop down bar to say Load custom.
Or another way is to leave the drop down bar the way it was Load custom and default, custom first and go to Site Layout to Column editor and turn off Category in the list of links in the left column. That way, if you create another button and need to get the link you can just go back to the Column editor and turn on the Category link and you can get your category page link that way.
Just remember each time to go back and turn it off so you don't have redundant navigation smile.gif
