I'm trying to work through a solution for this - odds are the answer is staring me in the face, but I'm too nearsighted or caffeine deprived to see it!

Scenario 1 : If I sell 10 units of Product X, I'd like to be able to give them Product Y for $0.00.

Scenario 2: If I sell a package of items, or a product group, I'd like to give them Product Y for $0.00.

Is there a built-in way to do this? Or does someone have a fabulous work around?

That would be cross selling and it is not available yet in the software although it is a big new feature request.

TNT is correct if you want to give a free product for an amount rather than for number of items purchased that can be done easily.
