I was wondering if some of ya'll could test something on my site for me. I got the following email from a customer who is having problems on my site and I cannot recreate the problem. Can you see if you run into it:
I have been trying to order some soyology candles off the website and I cannot get the order to go through. I can get one in my basket but not the rest of the ones I want. It says its putting it in my basket but when I go to checkout there is only one in there. I don't know if you are sold out of them or not, but I am having problems with your website. I have been trying to order for about a week now.
Thanks, it is much appreciated.

I was able to add three soyology candles to my cart, different kinds, and get through to the payment page of checkout with all three still there.

Worked ok for me too. Can you find out what browser she was using? I'd report it to

with a ticket.

I emailed her and asked for more specifics but haven't heard back. I'm glad ya'll are not having the issue.

I had a customer call me last week too. She said she registered first. Then added products into her cart. But when she went to checkout, her cart was empty. She tried several times and finally gave up and called me with the order. I logged in as her and then added the items. It worked fine for me and I was able to checkout as her.
She said cookies were enabled though I don't think this would matter as long as she is logged in.
It is so hard to figure these situations out. Is it the customer not understanding or reading the screen right, is it the shopping cart software, is it the configuration on their computer? Who knows...way too many variables to figure out and I find when I ask too many questions of the customer, they start to get annoyed. They don't care why it does not work, they just want to place the order.

MC-I looked at that thread and went through all my products including soyology and some were missing a </p> tag so I fixed that. So maybe that was it.
Steph-As soon as I hear back from her I'll submit a ticket if needed.
CJS-It is so difficult with all the different variables, that's why I asked here thinking I could get a wide range of enviroments.

I hope not as none of my products have a </p> tag. I thought that was optional?

I don't have many </p> tags at all. It shouldn't make a difference.
I have sporadic problems with one website that I order on regularly. After many years, I finally realized that many times I get in a hurry and click on the item, but forget to click the "add to cart" button. Doh!
I still do it sometimes.
Maybe that's what your customer was doing? (Although I doubt it - just a thought.)

nooksandniches - How did you customize your product page? I like your layout and would like to do something similar.

I am in the VIP program and am using the beta product display layout options.
You can sign up for the VIP program, it is $50 a year.
Dang, I need to keep the sign up link handy, anyone have it?

I found the link by accident and should have bookmarked it because I haven't been able to find it since. There are a couple of past threads going that have the link in them ... I'll see if I can find them.

Sorry...
I posted the link before realizing that link was only the entry page for VIP members (not for VIP sign-up). I can't find the sign up page either. If someone finds it..... please share the love!
