Two days ago I posted it with no response on either my support request or this message. Maybe it was in the wrong spot so I will add it here as well.


Hi guys, I just entered a support request, #16960, and wanted to go back and add to it since the initial window didn''t give me enough room to log everything I wanted. It gave me a Reqeuest ID but when I try to locate it it says it doesn;t exist. It even said that when I clicked on the hyperlink after it saved it!! I closed the admin panel and reopened it and it was still gone. This is the second time and I know someone else has mentioned it on this board. I was not finished with my post on the problem... What should I do now?

From what I've heard this occurs on certain types of requests. Some type of security setup. Your request is there, but even you can't see it for security reasons. If you call tech support they should be able to confirm the request ID number and update you on the status.

Ultimate is correct, if you set the request type to be FTP access, it is not visible at all on the web. The reason this occurs is that if you were the only one that wanted FTP control, but three people on your site placed tickets, then they would be able to see the response and thus, be able to FTP into your site.

You should have gotten a response, however, the "email when closed" was not checked when you submitted the ticket. Usually we just check it for you (since everyone really should get emailed when closed) but it must have slipped by that time.
