Is it possible to modify the order tracking page? I can't find anything in the manual or admin panel.

Has anyone else tried to add to this page?

Hello-

While it is usually possible to modify any of the .asp pages that make up your MonsterCommerce online store, there is no direct FTP access to Beta Store IPs. So, pages cannot be downloaded from the Beta server, and therefore, modifications are not available at this time.

When you do have full FTP access, you would simply need to download that specific .asp page, make your modifications, and re-upload. A developer's manual will be available for 4.0 - at the time of launch - in order to assist with changes.

Warning! When you request full FTP access, and start to make custom changes to your site, the MC team marks your site as custom and technical support for that specific area of your site would be limited...Custom programming services will also be available, if you would rather go that route.

If your site is listed as Custom do the patches still get applied when they are released?

That page does not have a place to edit it in the admin panel (in terms of making the look/feel different or changing different options). Skipper is right, you can download the page if you have full FTP access, and then you can make your desired changes.

They do not get implemented. Essentially, what being marked custom does is that it makes your site not get any update patches/new version releases because anything you would have changed will get overwritten by the new update. It is not meant to be a deterrent. Some customers of ours have neglected to tell us they were changing the code and then were very surprised to find all the work they did was gone.

You can request updates though, if you are marked custom. If you have saved your changes, then you could just paste it back in there after your requested upgrade roles through.

I'll leave it alone. It would be great to have an option to add some custom html into this page (ie ups tracking link, etc).
