Hi,
My first question is that our website has a forum where the company employees can come and discuss things, am I able to keep this up? Or do I need to get a new domain?
Second question, is there a way to test to see if orders go through ok before opening the website up for customers?

You need to provide a little more information on the above question, like who is hosting your Forum? What software are you using? What is the current domain name or how do you get to the Forum?

Are you talking about sales or credit card purchases?
If you want to try just running a few sales. Set youself up and account before hand or you can go to your website - Add a product or products to your shopping cart and then click on the checkout button, follow through.
Before I hade my merchant account activiated , I just set up a custom payment and used that for testing, or you can use check or money order as your payment type. And then delete the sales after you are done, unless you want to leave them of course.
