I understand the use of variants to display additional/related products. I also understand an enhancement is in the work to enable related products to be ordered from the main product screen.

Is there any way to display just the related items (after the main item has been selected and added to the cart) with an option to purchase related item or resume shopping from previous point?

Unfortunately it is not possible to direct them to a related products page at this time after clicking the buy button.

sure would be a great feature...i dont see the impact on sales from related products that a true upsell in cart would have, or a link to related product page after 'add to cart' may generate.

dont get me wrong, i love the related product capabiities...it just doesnt do what some other e-carts are able to do with upsell items during checkout. i look forward to seeing where the enhancement to related products will take us.

I'd welcome any improvement made to put a single specific item under the customers nose after a product is sold....NEW example (Water Lily Plant purchased....upsell product would be a bag of Water Lily Bloom Feed tablets...or how about our collector's Hosta 'Guacamole' associated with our copper id stake...for that matter, our pack of ten copper stakes could pull up a redirect to our permanent outdoor uv marker...a pack of tulip bulbs could redirect to our bulb planter) OK, thats enough new examples!

A redirect would take care of business as well as the sidebar idea, although I still like that concept also. The redirect would probably be an easier add for . In fact, it seems to me that would be a rather easy add..although Im not a programmer. I am confident that either of these ideas would help my sales..and thats always a good thing!

I guess I am behind whichever idea has the best chance of taking seed. Bad pun.

I think it may be an easy add beacuse its done in the SEO catalog already!
