Full Version: Shipping Internationally

I just created a shipping option for Canada (and hope to add Europe, Japan, and other low-risk nations). I expected that the "Calculate Shipping" option would change to include something beyond zip codes. A Canadian, English...Japanese visitor would need to enter a Country Code.

Is something amiss?

By the way, what is your preferred option for International Shipments, friends?

Hi,

For international customers you would save a lot of money using USPS. For Canadian Customer I would suggest UPS for very low rates to Canadian customers. Lower than USPS and others.

As far as international customers entering their zipcodes to calculate shipping before checkout ( which are only 3 digit numbers most of the time). monstersmile.gif said that this cannot be used for international customers only zip codes in the USA, but they hope to offer international calculation soon in v4.0. For now they can only see shipping charges during the checkout phase. unlike USA customers who can enter their zip code in the shopping cart to figure out their charges before clicking Checkout.

Hope this helps.
