Full Version: 2 prices

Will I be able to show the retail price and the current or sale price? Will the retail price have a score through it?
scaldiran-MC Team
If you put in a List Price and a regular Price, it will allow you to have both prices for your product. It will show up like this on your website:

List Price
$150.00 $115.00
marie
but i think she was looking for

retail:
<strike>$150</strike>

Sale:
$115

I have not done this - but you might could try using HTML coding in the List Pricing box and use < strike > infront of the amount.

This might work. blink.gif

I'd like to be able to have a strike thru the 'list price' as well. I think I tried this once and it didn't work to good. It fails to 'unstrike' before moving to the next field. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. blink.gif

I agree with ultimate, i've tried it also...couldn't get it to work..although i didn't spend all day on it.

If you mess with it and maybe do a </strike> prior to the regular price text it may work... may not look the best, but it may be acceptable. Let me know how it works out. smile.gif

It would be a nice feature if a future release of monstersmile.gif to allow you to strike thru the 'list price' if you wanted.

Is there a way to NOT see the list price? I just want to display my one price, and that's it.

This is the first time I've actually tried to help someone in this forum instead of being the one to ask the question. So, hopefully I understand your question correctly and am giving valid advise. If not, someone please jump in and correct me!

Look at my pages here:

and here:
http://66.216.117.117/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=8

If that is what you want, do this:

Go to Site Information > Site Wide Settings > Site Text to change the labels of List Price Text and Price Text (Price Text is the sale price if you also specify a list price).

Go to Site Information > Site Wide Settings > Site rules and set Display Strikes in List Price & Discounted Prices to Yes.

I hope I understood the question correctly, and I hope this helps.

monstersmile.gif allows you to automatically display a strike line through list price.

Go to Site informations--> Site wide settings --> Site rules--> scroll down and select yes for "Display Strikes In List Price & Discounted Prices"

I believe that is what you are talking about.

Two responses are better than none! wink.gif

Oh, no, what I mean is I don't want both prices to show up, just one. For example, I only want the list price visible. I don't care about showing a sale price.

MonkeyFly - if you leave the list price blank it shouldn't display at all.
