Hey guys I recently figured out how to add more images to my products. What I was wondering was is there a way to make the defualt box bigger? My "view more images" average about 440x350 pixels. Thanks in advance for the help!

Do you mean the "click to view more images" on your product pages?

As far as I know this is non-customizable. To make it bigger the customer has to click the "square" in the upper corner.

Yeah that is what I was talking about the "view more images" box. I've asked a couple other people and they too thought it was uncustomizeable, just thought I would double check! Thanks!

Dear monstersmile.gif Support,

This issue has been raised numerous times. Can you please let us know when the bug will be fixed.

Hi Plohish -

This is actually a new feature request. I don't believe this is on the radar for anything anytime soon... as I'm not sure what the best way to go about making this more flexible.

What are your thoughts on making this feature more customizable?

I also have a problem with window size. Most of my images are 500 pixels high, so when the window opens, the customer has to increase window size to see the whole photo.

See HERE: http://www.costumeexpo.com/index.asp?PageA...ROD&ProdID=2689

If the window could open at the exact size of the image, it would be much more attractive. The Width seems to always come out right, its the length that comes up short.

Does that make sense?

Hi Sabres,

Please take a look at a post dating back to January 31, 2004. Quote by Jen (a.k.a. Skpper) Hi! That is a good point. We had hardcoded the height and width parameters within the JavaScript code that runs that window...I will add a modification for this within our Usability Bug list and get it addressed within the next few weeks.

Quote from Ryan (a.k.a. Captain) from the same day "I will have Jen and Megan look at this on Monday for you. Unless there is a reason other than what I can think of... I agree, the window should pop in the propper window size. More to come on this Monday."

Hi Plohish-

This is the first I have seen of this... however, if this was promised I will look into it's status. I can say with 100% certainty it will not be in the upcoming patch for this Monday, but perhaps it will be in for the following patch.

Thanks!

How about just making the window size to the image that is being displayed?

Allowing it to expand to the image size would be perfect.

Absolutely!

Also, I think some customers get confused by the arrows. I've had a few on the phone. If the arrows could be larger and at the bottom of the open picture. Or even if we could choose the arrow image would be fantastic! thumbsup.gif

It is not uncommon for me to have 5-10 gallery images loaded - all of which are different sizes (600 x 800 down to 200 x 200). If the gallery image window resizes with every picture, I fear my customers will get dizzy while scrolling through 5-10 pics.

Perhaps a solution could be that the window pops the size of the first image (or better yet the largest image!!) - and will remain that size for the remaining pics unless user resizes window.
