Hello,

The MC team has noticed a potential issue within Real-time Shipping Settings wherein the connection to third party integration times out - preventing customers from being able to complete the checkout process.

We are working on this issue and will have it resolved as soon as possible. In the meantime, PLEASE TURN ON CUSTOM SHIPPING METHODS in order to ensure checkout capabilities.

Hello - The problem lies within the DHL look-up. They have changed their integration format and it is no longer compatible with MC software.

Our development team has created an emergency patch which will remove this as an option. This is the first step...Second step will be to modify the DHL integration and bring that option back.

In Summary:

DHL Servers are not responding to requests sent by the MC shopping cart. This caused a session timeout to occur, preventing customers from completing the checkout process. We have responded with an emergency patch removing DHL as an option within Real-time Shipping. Customers using only DHL as an option will need to add a Custom Shipping Method until we have corrected this problem with DHL. Customers using multiple shipping options will simply notice that DHL is removed from the Shipping Options within your storefront.

I realize this post is from a long time ago... But, I've noticed that no matter which way I change the custom and real-time shipping settings, I don't see anything for DHL.

I this how it's supposed to work?

We are towards the end of the compliance process to the new DHL shipping standard. Once that is all wrapped up and DHL approves MonsterCommerce as a DHL real-time rate provider we will be able to re-enable the DHL rates within the storefront.
Since this timeline relies on a third-party I can't say for sure if it will be ready for the 4.2 Checkout release.
However once MC is approved it will be a simple update to get DHL back up & running!
