I was wondering if anyone knows a way to allow the customer to view the cart after they press "add to cart".
For example, lets say you want to purchase a product and you press "add to cart" I would then like the page to redirect you to the view cart page. Were then the customer has the option to checkout or continue shopping.
I understand that you want the customer to keep shopping, however not everyone who surfs the web are web savy. They need ease of use. I think that this would be a nice feature to add.
Thanks.

Currently, there is no way to re-direct to view cart after adding to the cart. This has been discussed, and (I think) may change with future updates to the MC software ..

I hope it changes. Especially for those of us with memory problems, who can't remember what they bought or if they added the right thing. It's tough going to the checkout page and then discover that the wrong thing was added and then click the back arrow, and get a "page not found".

I agree. I would like to be driected to the cart once you add a product. There are way too many people who just want one item and at the same time do not know how to get to the view cart (I have proof... had an old man call and asked direction of how to checkout) Yes it is rare, but it happens

This is one of the main reasons I like the side bar shopping cart the items are always in veiw and the customer can checkout at all times.
Just my 3 cents..........

Neil,
Did you customize your shopping cart? I placed a test order on your site and when I clicked "Checkout", it showed the name of the product in the shopping cart. When I click "Checkout" on my site, the cart says "1 item in cart". I have my cart setup on the right side bar. Thanks.

Just from personal experience and askign people about the side bar... it seems if you can see how much you have already spent, you may be reluctent to buy more, but if you do not see how much you have added up and at the end your more than likely to sepdn more. Just what I have found with customers from asking.
