Undejj has written a code that does something simliar to this in the past for another merchant but I can not seem to find the code at this time.
Couldnt this be done as a simple link somewhere in the description that says to hear the sound of this product click here.. and have it roll the sound bite?

Yes this can be done very easily ... you won't need any code.
Just go into the Product Editor and place your HTML which includes the image file and the link to the WAV file in the ADDITIONAL INFORMATION URL box.
That should do the trick.
I used to have sound clips play from my site using that tool.

Hmm .. there are ways to do this but not if you are using the Additional Info link section.

Well actually Im not using the additional link, I put it in the long description html box, so I could easily add a code to open to a new window..if I knew how

Add this to your HTML code for the <a> tag:

I want to say Thanks for the response I got..I found a new code that put a console recorder right on the product page itself. That way it doesn't have to open to a new page at all and the customers can play it over and over if they want. If anyone ever needs to add this sound recorder to your page. Drop me a note and I'll be glad to send it to ya..Thanks..Michael

Can you give us a link to one of the products you did this to so we can see this in action?
I went to your site and put music in the search box and only came up with one item "
Monkey Pod Wood percussion frogs " and looking in the detailed description the Sound link did not work properly...
I would love to see this in action... I have a few musical items on my site to and think this would add a nice touch....

Thanks , Im sure you could have it play as long as you wanted ..the only thing is I made my sounds and saved them as .wav's and a .wav is a very large file to upload so I tried to keep it short and sweet..I read that it is better to save your file as mp3 because they are small files..I just don't have the stuff to make one.
if you need the code for this let me know and I will send it over or just list it on here..believe it or not I got it out of html for dummies

and thats pretty much me when it comes to html..
