I imported the sort code from my excel spreadsheet, but products are not showing up in the correct order. I am using categories and sub-categories and have products listed under their sub and then an "all products in this category" list under the category. I started over with one each time I had a new category. This doesn't appear to be the correct method. Also, how do you handle sort numbering when one product can be in 4 or 5 categories?

Currently the only way to sort in main categories is in your admin panel change your sorting to by price or alphabetically......... I believe this feature is going to be added to the 4.1 upgrade........

I follow you on the category page. What I should have listed in my original message is that I started off at one again for each SUB-category. How does that actually work when products are repeated in different sub-categories?

Not sure I but I think it is still based on what is setup in the sitewide settings.
