Full Version: Secure and non-secure items

I have the shared SSL offered through monstersmile.gif. When I ran a test transaction, every time I went to the next step, I got the "This page contains both secure and non-secure items" warning. I assume that has to do with my images (banner and so-forth), but how does that get fixed? I don't want that warning popping up for the customers and scaring them away.

I apologize if this is something that is in the manual, but it's 4 am and I'm a little bleary-eyed from poking at it all evening. blink.gif

Tim_in_TN,

The image you have on the top right (Search Me smily face) is not secure. Simply ad an S to the HTTP of that image. so the url of you immage should be ex:https://www.sowhimsy.com/products/images/thepicsname

Adding the S to the HTTP will make it a secure item. If you notice when you checkout and click NO on the warning message that pic will be a red X. That indicates the image is non secure. wink.gif

Good Luck!

Now that I see it in print (and now that I'm looking at it during a decent hour), I'm whackin' myself in the forehead thinking, well duh! rolleyes.gif

That'll teach me to stay up until 4 in the morning trying to do this stuff. That's the kind of thing that makes a person stoopid! huh.gif

Problem solved, crisis averted! Thanks for the help!

Don't feel bad Tim, I did the same thing. Sometimes it just takes another pair of eyes to see it.
