Full Version: Product List Layout?
MonsterSmallBusiness Forums > MonsterWebDesign > Designing Your Storefront

Hi all, just hopped on the monstersmile.gif wagon. I'm in the midst of designing our site and I've noticed that in our product list, the text of long product names are wrapping prematurely (as in not going all the way across the center table). This is even after I turned off the 'buy/view' buttons. Is there a way to make the text go all the way across?

Also, for product lists, is there a feature for alternating row colors?

Any input is appreciated! Thanks!

Can we get a link to your page or example - Thanks

Yes there is and alternating feature for products, you can find it from your admin panel >>Site Layout >>Site Wide Colors , Fonts & Sizes

Locate 4th & 5th options

Color of Even Rows In Product Lists
Color of Odd Rows In Product Lists

Change to colors to suit your needs and click save!

I know there is not a way to center a product on a page currently.... As far as the text wrapping I do not think there is a way to turn this off either..........

Just my 3 cents..... smile.gif

Thanks for the info on alternating colors.

The example I have is this:

Screen Res: 1024x768

http://www.buymoto.com/index.asp?PageActio...CATS&Category=3

Notice how the year number wrap into the next line (or it does on my screen at least)

I know that space is usally reserved for the buy/view buttons but is there a hack to get text all the way across the cell?

Thanks!

I believe this is your table setting undert

admin panel >>Site Layout >>Site Page & Border Misc

Store Front Center Column Table Size

Try adjusting this up till you get it right!
