Does anyone else have customers call or email that they have problems occassionaly in the store. Every once in a while a customer will say that they will have *Error* show up when either adding a product, checking out, or choosing shipping option.
I have checked with monstersmile.gif and they can't see a problem.
I am just wondering if my customers are "special" wacko.gif and screwing up on their own, or if there is something I have setup that is causing these occassional problems.

I do not know what your error is specifically... but I can imagine that "X" number of customers... especially the less computer savvy customers may have troubles... there are literally hundreds of things that can go wrong... ie, someones dial-up line crashes or times out etc.

It sounds like you are doing the right thing by asking the customer what erros they are recieving, where it occurs and why, if possible.

If you get solid answers call tech support and they will help trouble shoot. rolleyes.gif

Yeah, I try to get all the info I can, but customers rarely remember specifics. I have already sent some of the problems to tech and had some things resolved. I was just curious if maybe there was something I have turned on or coded in the html that could be causing problems every once in a while. Maybe another monstersmile.gif merchant has had the same thing happen in the past. It doesn't happen often though and I would say 99% of the people call or email us to place their order when a problem online occurs.
I would imagine 95% of the time its the customer doing something wrong that they don't realize.
