When I was testing my site I received the following alert.
Has anyone seen this. It doesn't make me feel very secure when I see an alert like this. What will a customer think? I just got the GeoTrust SSL certificate, why is it stating that it's issued by an untrusted company?
TIA.

HoganP-
This is a standard Java warning. It's asking you if you trust the security of https://www.superhero-zone.com. Java always asks this when you go to any secure site (in this case your admin panel) unless you select always.
You can make IE do the same thing too if you like... warn you everytime you are entering or leaving a secure location.
Definitely nothing to worry about. Select always and you'll never see it again.

I did select always. I've never seen the alert before. I'm more concerned about what a customer will think, though it sounds like I saw it because I was on the admin page which is java base? It won't appear on the website?
Thanks for the quick response.

You're right... a customer won't see that since Java is only in your admin area.
You might not have seen that alert because perhaps before then you did not access your admin panel via https://www.superhero-zone.com/

That's probably it. The certificate was just set up.
Thanks again. I feel better.
