I recently received the following email...
QUOTE
Dear Authorize.Net Merchant:

Our records indicate that your Payment Gateway account still requires the following reconfiguration as a result of the recent implementation of the Backup Payment Gateway.

If you still direct transactions to the Payment Gateway using an IP address, you will NOT be able to process transactions after July 2, 2003. If you are using an IP address, please modify your integration to post transactions to the Payment Gateway via the following URL:
https://secure.authorize.net/gateway/transact.dll

Failure to connect to the Payment Gateway via the above URL before July 2, 2003 may result in a broken connection and failed transactions.

If your rules-based firewall only allows incoming traffic from designated Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, you may need to contact Authorize.Net directly to obtain new Payment Gateway IPs. Failure to modify your firewall’s Payment Gateway IP configuration before July 2, 2003 may result in a broken connection and failed transactions.

Has anyone else received this? Has monstersmile.gif updated to support the URL method? Will I be interupted after July 2nd when people try to order from my store??? crying.gif

The answer? monstersmile.gif support received tons of calls concerning this and "Steve" assured me that the coding for this has already been taken care of. whistling.gif

However, whether your a 'custom' store or standard store I would still recommend checking your authorize.net checkout with a test card code on July 3rd to ensure that there are no lost sales due to any 'unforeseen issues'. biggrin.gif

Robert,

We received this message, too.

Captain, can we disregard it? Is monstersmile.gif on top of this matter for us who use authorize.net?

Thanks!

Captain
Robert,

I spoke with Andy, the manager of our tech support group. He is aware of the Authorize.Net email (supposedly they send it to all of their clients)... and there is nothing to worry about.

monstercommerce.gif has reviewed the e-mail and everything is in the clear!

Thanks, Captain!

Captain
Mineral,

You and Ultimate are correct. monstercommerce.gif has taken the nccessary precautions to make sure things go smoothly... but it certainly doesn't hurt to double check!
