Full Version: Urchin Reporting
MonsterSmallBusiness Forums > MonsterCommerce > How do I?

Anyone else think that the Urchin reports are a little flacky? Here are my two biggest gripes:
1. Reports are posted at differents times each day - and sometimes aren't even posted daily. Perhaps a batch file issue on monstersmile.gif's end?
2. Google's bots are only listed under types of browsers hitting your site. And there is no way to check the depth in which a robot dug into your site. For all I know, the bot only processed the index page.

Am I off base or are there better traffic reporting solutions on the market?

I am not that impressed with it. I have used both Webtrends and deepmetrix and found them both to be more useful.

Has anyone used the DeepMetrix® Commerce edition. I just checked it out and it is HOT! It is a flat rate of $199 a year and gives up to the minute stats on traffic.

I wonder if monstersmile.gif Commerce could work a deal with them for a discounted price for all thier users?

WebTrends is better than DeepMatrix and Urchin. Webtrends costs more.

Urchin is far better than Deep Matix.

Adam is posting a document today regarding the recent issues with Urchin.

Deep Matrix was grossly inaccurate and not stable. MC will not be going back to Deep Matrx.
