Any of you Photoshop / Fireworks jocks out there, what is the step by step procedure to create a cool watermark like the following:

I'm referring to the K*B watermark, of course.

I have the demo of Paint Shop Pro and have 10 days left. I may be purchasing a graphics program. I am used to Paint Shop Pro a little and like the tubes you can get for the program. I need a low cost ($100.00 or so) graphics program. Which does everyone recommend?

Thanks,

Just think Opacity. Back the Opacity (Transparency) down to like 25% like psd link that was posted says and your golden.

Make sure that your image or whatever you are watermarking is in a level all it's own and on top of the layer that the image you are watermarking.

Does the picture already have to be on a transparent background?

The picture you are watermarking or the the watermark?

If yes to the watermark I would mask out what you want to watermark. If you use a picture on a picture it can create a cool effect but can also be problematic if it doesn't blend well so masking certain aspects of the photo would eliminate such possibilies.

But if the watermark is a logo, it should be pretty easy to drop it on top of your image and then back the opacity down to 25% smile.gif
