Hi All

Is anyone using monstersmile.gif as their merchant account, or had it set up by monstersmile.gif, I filled in the application some days back and have no reply, we're pushing a few sales through our site so I'd have thought their might have been a responce, anyway while I wait, I though I'd ask for some input on how well the service works, hidden costs, fraud detection, charge back fees etc etc

Is Julie still working or off on a holiday, no reply to my last two emails to her since she asked where I was located and obviously had a panic attack when the word Thailand was mentioned dry.gif

I have emailed him quite a few times now. I keep getting a response back regarding charchters downloading in a different language. I will try to email him using another machine, on a different network, maybe that will work.

I also had trouble with slow/no response from Julie. Never got the application sent to us (we wanted to see the contract details). We went with another service that had better rates. This was the only bad experience I've had with monstersmile.gif , by the way mad.gif . The sales department and tech support have been absolutely fabulous. biggrin.gif

I am thinking about going to MC route but I was wondering who you went with?

Hey Guys-
I know this is an old topic that i would like to bring back up for discussion.
MonsterMerchantAccount has made a number of improvements to increase our quality of service. I am wondering if any of you have feedback on this effort. Has it worked? Are there areas where we can still improve?

I applied for it last friday. Lets see how it goes. One thing i will mention, I am more comfortable with monstersmile.gif handling my money than anyone else.

I signed up last year when my site went live. I've never had a problem. Julie has been very responsive to my needs. And I agree with ebeadstore about the "who's handling the money" line. I'd be very leery to try anyone else after reading other experiences here. I actually emailed Julie about some of the problems and was reassured that some of these issues would not happen with them (with accompanying explanations of course). The rates may be a little higher, but definitely worth the piece of mind of knowing my money will not be held.
