When I received an order alert email and I read it through Outlook Express, shouldn't it remain in my mail server area until I delete it? I don't believe I have changed a setting since my initial setup. And the mail was remaining there until I manually deleted it.

If you want it in both places the best thing to do is setup mail forwarding from your e-mail server, to forward a copy to a different e-mail address in outlook. If you are downloading it to outlook, there will not be another copy of the server as well, I don't believe.

That is the point of outlook to download it from your server into oultlook.

However, if you have not downloaded into outlook it will still appear in your server, so it is working correctly.

Once again the crew and clientele prevails. Pretty bad when you use the spell checker and you still think a word is spelled wrong
