Is the only way to do this with a currency converter?
If so, what would you all recommend?

Hi,
I have talked and requested this feature be added with bitter. Maybe in later versions of 4.0 they will add this as well as mutl-language flags.

A currency converter is definitely something my customers use. My old cart had it - customers could easily switch between multiple currencies. I have already gotten comments about repeat customers missing this function.
I have added a link on my site to a currency conversion website, but that always creates the problem of sending them away.
My main international shipments are Canada, UK, Switzerland, Netherlands.

Hi guys,
We are definitely looking into adding a currency converter into V4.0. If you go to this store
http://www.BuyGifts.ca you will notice that in the right hand side cart we did some custom work and made it show both CAN and USA prices. Also under each price they have a link to the currency converter which they made.

Nice cannot wait, the popular ones are Canadian and UK. It would be nice to get some others.

Yes, this will be very nice!
I usually have Canadian and Australian customers asking. Right now I have a link to
http://www.xe.com/ucc/ on my FAQs page. The link opens up a new browser window so I don't actually have people leaving.
Maybe this will help temporarily for you too?

Before

can make this change to the shopping cart, Could you not get the current currency conversion and make a Custom Page displaying it, then you aren't sending people away from your site. Just update the currency conversion every weekend if needed. Its a little bit of work but well worth it compared to customers complaining.
Just my two cents

Just a tip for everyone.
I changed the text of the CUSTOMER PRICE to CDN and then changed the text of the LIST PRICE to USD
I put the two different prices in each individual boxes.
It seemed to work pretty well for me.
Check it out

Great idea, but are you in Canada? Isn't it the customer price that is charged during checkout?

Yah I am in Canada ... but its a temporary fix for now.
Unfortunately, the checkout won't list the prices in US and CDN ... but they will get the basic idea.
Hopefully we will see an upgrade sometime soon!!
