I looked for a general forum for this question. I used to be able to save my files I get from my distributor as .jpg, .gif, etc... Now Windows XP has taken control an will only let me save them as .bmp. And the strange thing is all the file are in either .jpg or .gif format already so why would XP make me save it as a .bmp? It used to let me save them as the correct file type. I have searched the Microsoft knownledge base and can't find any info.


Can someone help? Sorry for the off Commerce question. But I need to upload the files in the correct format.

I've encountered this problem trying to save images while in IE.
