Full Version: Is There Any Way To Do This?
MonsterSmallBusiness Forums > MonsterCommerce > How do I?

I've like to have the confirmation email that goes out to customers, contain a link back to the product(s) that they bought. I want to do this to make it easier for them to come back and "review" the items. I believe having the specific link immediately available might encourage more participation and response.

Anyone know of a way to do this? Thanks

Heartland,

This is a good idea. I wish I knew how to do it, so we could all benefit. Hopefully someone else will know a way.

To me it is such a good idea, that it should be a feature request for the cart.

Great idea, but I have a feeling it wont work...getting to that info requires a login. Interesting though...

Martini,

I thought MC disabled the bit about requiring a login for a review. It use to be that way, but I believe now adays it is not. We receive reviews from anonymous people every now and then.

Yes Rick...it could certainly benefit us all! I did call tech support to confirm that it can't be done...he said that it would be a complex thing to accomplish, but that he would put it in as a feature request. I didn't get a confirmation of the call, so I hope he did it.

Complicated, WOW, an html link in an email, that does sound really complicated. You know, you might call him back and tell him that instead of them (MC) figuring out how to add links to MC html emails, that they concentrate on trying to figure out how to do it in a merchants email. You know, on second thought, if they can put links in an html email asking us for reviews of MC, why can't they do it in our emails?

COMPLICATED ???????
