Where in the checkout process would a customer be able to add a gift card or how would I go about adding this to my shopping cart?

I have read that some of you have been using the gift certificate feature. I am going to do it. How is it working for everyone? Seems like they would sell pretty good.

Gift certificate sells depend on your site. They do not work well or sell well for all sites.
I reccommend offering them as a gift after they purchase a certain amount.
