I just switched to Authorize.net from linkpoint. When an order is placed we get a message that states the address and zip match but it says nothing about the cvv number. Linkpoint always told us if the cvv matched as well. Is there a setting in Auth.net that I can set to request the cvv response be sent as well?

we use authorize.net, and all we see in StoneEdge is
This transaction has been approved.
AVS Response = Address (Street) and 5 digit ZIP match
If you want to check the CVV code I think you have to login to your auth control panel.
If you are worried about the CVV code, you could set it authorize.net to decline on mismatched CVV or CVV not present.

Thanks for your reply. I have already set the order to be rejected if the cvv is incorrect. I got so use to CVV response coming through with linkpoint!

Dani,
Curious as to why you switched. Better pricing??

Basically it was all about price but not with Authorize.net vs Linkpoint. It was more on the processor pushing the buttons behind the scenes. My original processor has a zillion fees and their bill was extremely confusing and they kept screwing around with the fees. I went with another company who is supposedly simpler to deal with. I just switched over so if in a month things are not as peachy as it was promised I will just revert back since I have not stopped the other merchant service.
It is all about the bottom $$$, how long it takes for me to get my money and customer service. My original company took on the average 5 days to deposit my money. I had been with them 4 years and had a very small chargeback rate.
