Hello,

I am a webmaster looking for a solution for Government clients. How can I refrain from charging them taxes when they buy online? I want it to be something automatic. I don't want to go back in and make adjustments after they have made the transaction.

Thanks for your comments,

one way that I can think of... is having customers pre-register for your site. then when they register, you approve them and make them tax exempt.

then again, you can just make the whole site tax exempt if only goverment customers are going to be buying

They definitely need to pre-register, then send you a request with there login name, maybe some proof of there agency so you can go in and declare then Tax-Exempt in the cart. Its allready there, you just need to have them setup a login account ahead of time.
