I want to post up some of my shopping.com and bizrate reviews on my right or left column, but I don't want any unsecured images or objects appear on checkout.

How do i do this?

Why not copy the reviews, plus any images, and put them on your server? That way you can avoid any secure/non-secure issues that hot linking would create.

Or you can also disable showing the columns at check out and not to have to worry about upating and/or uploading them to server.

Here's what you need to do as I do the same thing:

---In the code that you get from bizrate and shopping, you need to set the image src address to https but keep the link to the actual bizrate and shopping.com website details as http.

That way they will work when your site is in non-secure and secure modes.
