I run a few sites and looks like Internet Explorer is loosing heavy grounds on market share on peoples default web browsers.

Heres the stats below

Site 1. Informational & Forum Stock Website
May 07 21,000 Unique Vistors
52% IE
37% FireFox
9% Netscape
Rest of the % are others

Ecommerce Site
May 07 2,700 Unique Vistors
59% IE
35% FireFox
3% Safari
1% NetScape

I remember 2 years ago that firefox on my other Site 1. was 85% IE and 10% Firefox.

I know not everything works correctly on monstercommerce with firefox, but should they start focusing more Firefox shortly than Internet Explorer?

Hard to say if we'll focus MORE on FF than IE, but I am pretty sure that you'll see a change in the future related to how much we will support FF. Remember, when I say "future" I do not mean next week! happy.gif

Hi baitnhook,

To also comment on this, the frontend of your MC site is fully compatible with every modern browser. IE 5.5 and above, Netscape 6 and above, Safari, Firefox, Opera...

So for your customers they should have no issues checking out on your site.

I do most of my editing in FF. Except of course, for using the WYSIWYG Editor. cool.gif We've only encountered two real problems between FF and IE. One was traced to a line in the CSS. The other was a drop down pick list that requires a < /div tag in FF, but not in IE. Otherwise, all seems to be fine. Except, of course, for editing in the WYSIWYG Editor. Oh ........ and the bulk upload in the FTP-like Manager.
