Full Version: Question About Manufacturer Html

Hello all,
I am very new at html so forgive me if this is an obvious... I would like to make my manufacturer pages more seo friendly, and i do not think monstersmile.gif allows us to change the title, description, or keywords for the manufacturer pages in the manufacturer manager. When you go to the manufacturer page online the title /description and keywords follow the main sites one.
I have seen another website online use <TITLE> tags in their sourcecode. I was wondering if anyone knew if in the manufacturer html i put in the following code it would help the page get more hits:

<TITLE>Manufacturer sub title </TITLE>
<META NAME="description" CONTENT=" manufacturer sub description">
<meta NAME="keywords" CONTENT="manufacturer sub keywords">

thank you,
Janet

Janet123,

AFAIK, the and tags are used to add superscript and do not have anything to do with <meta> tags. For instance, if you wanted to code "May 18th" but wanted the "th" to be smaller and higher, you'd code "May 18th".

See here - http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_sup.asp - for more information on .

Duplicate <title>s and <meta>s in a page will be detrimental to SEO and may hinder the page from loading properly in some browsers.
