We will have two types of customers: Regular Joes (and Josephines) and Resellers.
We do not want to have a minimum purchase order (Cart Subtotal, to be more specific) for the Regular folks.
We want to give a discount to Resellers and can do this by creating a "Resellers" price level.
What I can't figure out is how to establish a minimum purchase order for the Resellers price level.
If a Regular customer wants to buy $20 in beads, that's fine. However, the Resellers need to "earn" their discount by buying at least $500 in beads. I don't want them to be able to place an order through the system if the order subtotal is less than this.
Any solutions?

There is no way to set this up like this. However, you could create a separate category for wholesalers, and use the call message so your retail customers can't purchase. Then, clone everything into that category as well, but make these product have a minimum quantity purchase. It won't ensure a minimum total order, but it will ensure that your wholesale customers do buy each item in bulk rather then individually.
It is an excellent idea for a new feature request, though, to have different price levels have different minimum order amounts.... like a price level minimum order amount would override the default price level set in site wide rules.
