Full Version: Adds Loging Into Admin
What's with the NetSol adds popping up when logging into the Admin panel? WHY??? I thought the page was fine when it was implemented to advise us of the updates. PLEASE!!! take down the adds. I already know who I'm using for my software. I find these totally offensive.

What gets me is, why is it an add for specials instead of a notice or reminder that the cart is being updated tonight. Never saw the post that the cart was being updated tonight. Did notice the notice that the cart was going to be updated this past saturday a week ago. Missed any reference to the 4.6.0.3 update tonight. Even the tech support rep mentioned in this post http://forums.monstersmallbusiness.com/ind...mp;#entry122072 didn't know of the update tonight.

I have to take responsibility on this one.
We decided to do this special offer for the final week of the month and it was my idea to pop it up when you log in.
I wanted to make sure that everyone who pays monthly knew about it and not everyone reads their email. We are only offering this to legacy MonsterCommerce customers, so we couldn't put it in the admin panel area, so this is something that we can pop up on a server by server basis.
Your guidance is taken, but i can assure you, it was meant to make sure that everyone who pays $99/month knew that they could save $300.

So you're the culprit. Thanks for 'fessing up. I did notice, tho', that the adds are still there. And I think Rick brings up a very valid point. Perhaps that screen should have been used to advise of this recent update. And perhaps all the way thru, until the updates were completed. Rather than posting ads. To me, that would have been a much better use of bandwidth and screen real estate. So ... when do the ads come down?

I agree with your point on update vs ads. A better decision could have been made.
