Hi,
Interested in getting some ideas on how you guys do your watermark, like with what programs etc...

Please elaborate as to what you need a watermark for?
1. To overlay your product pix?
2. To have as a page backdrop?
For either one of those, just back your opacity down to 50% or lower and it will overlay anything rather nicely. I am an Adobe Photoshop guy, but Macromedia Fireworks will work for this capacity as well.

Hi,
The watermark would be used for pictures and for back drops.
I use Adobe Photo Elements for now.
We have adobe photoshop on another computer , but like the simplexity elements provides us.
Thanks

Hmm, sounds like you might need to upgrade. If you want the 'complexity' you might try Adobe Photoshop LE. You should be able to back the opacity off with the LE version.

I created a nice little clear watermark in Photoshop that I would like to drop in the bottom left of each full size image I use. However, I don't know of a good program that can automate this for me. If anyone has a recommendation I'd love to hear it.

Run a batch process. Photoshop can do this, Fireworks does it better.

Hmm. Now that I know Photoshop can do it I'll look into "Batch Processes". I'll let you all know if I can figure it out on my own or not

Thanks CwazyDawg.

I managed to put a watermark thru Paint shop Pro.
How does it look, does it interfere with viewing the products???

I think it looks fine. Only covers a small portion of the actual "picture" of the product because you have the space around the beads. Nice.

I like it and I don't think it hurts the quality of the picture at all.
You may have to be selective as to were you locate it from time to time. But I think it looks great!!!

Looks good and if you are worried about it taking away from the product you could just lower the opacity a little more.
