Recently, my customers have been receiving two identicla order emails. Is there a switch I am missing that generates two emails instead of just one?

no it should only generate one. Open a trouble ticket, its probably a bug. My customers aren't receiving any e-mails, but they are working on the fix.

Nutrition is correct. This is not how the system is intended to work. If you open a ticket it sounds like something that should be a relatively quick fix.

Let's hope it's quick. My last ticket to install my .pem file for the Linkpoint gateway took over 50 hours.

As I am only a Client I can't really tell you why it took so long for that request, but I can tell you it's not the norm. Hopefully your next ticket (this recent one) will be handled in a more timely fashion.
