I just got the store completed with Authorize.net and was wondering what this response code meant
Response Code 1 = 3
Response Code 2 = 123
I have printed off the PDF file on the

KB site and cannot figure out the main codes I need on the site... What are the best to use.
Thanks

I still have not found any documents on the web SERP's about this response code by authorize.net on a MonsterCommere Store. I will will call the support team about this code in the morning. Even my guys in support have not seen this message. I have been running monstercommerce stores for almost 4 years all using Authorize.Net this is the first time I have seen this message..

I found the reason why I am getting this code Authorize.net requires you to a create a Transaction API ID Key. I have posted instructions on my blog
http://merchantservicesonline.blogspot.com if anyone needs help doing this...
I am still wondering what custom response messages people use for Authorize.net.
Thx

Yes, the responce codes tell the customer why their card declined. Each different decline has a different responce code (Cvv doesn't match, for example)....

I understand that but what I am looking for is a list of what other MC users are putting and do you guys put all the codes in from the document because that is a ton of codes.
Thx

hey guys, okay here are some of my boring responses to auth codes:
response code 2, 27 - "Were sorry, the address you provided does not match the billing address of the cardholder. Please check your address for accuracy and try again."
code 2,6 - "Were sorry, the credit card number is invalid. Please try again."
code 3,7 - "Were sorry, the credit card expiration date is invalid. Please try again."
code 2,2 - "Were sorry, your credit card has been declined. The reason is unknown to us. Maybe you have exceeded your daily limit. Please call 1-888-262-1662 for assistance with your order."
this verbage came from my boss...he said alot of times the customers have exceeded their limit...
yawn - i told you it was boring

Here's a link to Authorize.net's "official" publication describing the various response codes:
http://www.authorize.net/support/AIM_guide.pdfThe actual codes and their explainations start on page 26 of the document.

Will these work with the new platform?
