What if some of us were to set up a community/message board independently? I think a gentler feel without mc rants and questions, more of a sharing of techniques/business ideas/experiences might be better for some of us.

Any thoughts?

I like the idea and would be glad to participate, especially since I am pretty new to and retail.

How could we make it happen? Most of the message boards i've been on/created have died over time.

Great idea--but like your previous experience it'll depend on independent participation and the willingness to stick to it...unfortunately it'll also mean work for someone (or a few to mod)...Id love to help out any way I can. If you have some ideas, feel free to PM me. Just a note though--sometimes, Im very available--sometimes Im not available for a week or so at a time.

As an aside, there are many folks (previous Mooksters) participating on independent board discussions relative to some other cart systems (PM me and I'll send you the info when I have a minute if you want it).
